The Great Falls Police Protective Association (GFPPA) was established in 1937 purely for the purpose of bettering the department, as well as bringing its members more closely together. The GFPPA is comprised of Great Falls police officers that have successfully completed their one year probationary period.
Over the years, the role of the GFPPA expanded in the City of Great Falls to not only include helping its members with work related issues, but being active in sponsoring youth programs. The GFPPA has contributed to several youth organizations, including Special Olympics, CASA-CAN, Project Safe Graduation, Eagle Mount, Little League Baseball/Softball, Boys and Girls Club, Babe Ruth Baseball, Dandelion Foundation, American Legion Baseball, Shop with a Cop, numerous volleyball and soccer clubs, as well as other community youth organizations. By giving back to the community they serve, GFPPA members are making Great Falls a better place to live, work and recreate.
The Great Falls Police Protective Association is registered as a non-profit corporation in the State of Montana and all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law. 100% of your donation goes back into the community, specifically toward enhancing and developing local youth organizations. The GFPPA tax ID number is 47-1913343.
