Welcome to the Great Falls Police Protective Association

Founded in 1937, the Great Falls Police Protective Association (GFPPA) was established to strengthen the Great Falls Police Department and bring its members closer together. The Association is composed of Great Falls police officers who have successfully completed their one‑year probationary period and are committed to supporting both the department and the community.

Over the years, the GFPPA’s role has expanded beyond internal support. In addition to assisting members with work‑related issues, the Association is proud to play an active role in sponsoring youth programs throughout the City of Great Falls. GFPPA has contributed to many youth‑focused organizations, including Special Olympics, CASA‑CAN, Project Safe Graduation, Eagle Mount, Little League Baseball/Softball, Boys and Girls Club, Babe Ruth Baseball, American Legion Baseball, Shop with a Cop, Heisey Community Center, and various volleyball and soccer clubs, among numerous other community programs. By giving back to the community they serve, GFPPA members help make Great Falls a better place to live, work, and recreate.

The GFPPA is registered as a non‑profit corporation in the State of Montana, and all donations are tax‑deductible as allowed by law. One hundred percent of all donations go directly back into the community to support and develop local youth organizations.
